What we're Watching

About six months ago Dan and I gave up cable and went strictly Netflix and Hulu. I honestly have not missed it one bit. The only thing that we miss are sporting events on cable channels and usually we go somewhere to watch it. Sometimes it is tough to find shows that we both can agree on, or that one of us hasn't already seen.

We are watching:
United States of Tara
Right now we are watching United States of Tara. We just started season two and are really enjoying the show. It is really neat because it is set near where we live and it is cool to hear them name drop local places. This show is the perfect mix of funny, and serious. It has a very similar vibe to Weeds and Orange is the new Black, which we also loved.

Dan's Watching:
Alphas

I love the man, but sometimes the shows he chooses are just not my style. He just finished watching Alphas and here is his review;
"Alphas is like X-Men, but more realistic. It is a good show."
There  you have it folks, I bet you can't wait to watch!

Lindsey's Watching:
Nashville

It is basically a soap opera, but I love it. Some of the story lines are a little much, but it can't help but suck you in. Last season ended on a huge cliffhanger and the second season just started. I haven't had time to watch the first episode, but I am really looking forward to it.

What are some of your favorite Netflix/Hulu shows?

  1. When we had Netflix last year I could stay up all night watching the documentaries that we were on. I never really watched shows on Netflix. I use to be addicted to Grey's via Hulu too.

  2. We were on a big documentary kick for awhile, but now there are just political and nature ones left. BORING!
